The biggest social network Facebook now has 955 million active users, where “active” means – users that log on to their account at least once a month. Facebook employees expected 1 billion active users by the time second quarter results came out. The 955 million number also represents 29% growth in users year on year. Other interesting number is – 552 million users that log on to their accounts every day.
When Facebook filed its IPO paperwork, the network had 845 million users.
